In May 2008 Square Enix announced localizations of the Nintendo DS remakes of Dragon Quest IV, V, and VI for North America and the PAL region, commonly referred to as the "Zenithia" or "Tenku trilogy". The authors wrote new stories for their respective series, three stories for Hideo, nine for Saori, and three for Domon with the latter's works featuring illustrations by Daisuke Torii. The single-volume manga was released in 1990 and produced by Ishimori Productions.
The second and third Torneko games have had remakes for the Game Boy Advance (GBA).
